In the 1950's, Truman Avenue on Kansas City's east side was known as Motorcycle Alley, with almost every brand represented.

Over the years, all but Engles has either closed or moved south. But 6633 Truman Road remains one of the most accessible locations in Mid-America.

Located just a mile west of I-435 on Truman Road one can get here from any direction.

The Truman Road exit (Exit 60)is located just a mile north of I-70 on I-435. Downtown Kansas City, Worlds of Fun, the riverboat casinos and Arrowhead and Kaufman Stadium are all within a few short miles of Engle Motors.

From Downtown: Take Truman Road (15th Street) East 3 miles.

From Overland Park: Take I-435 East and follow when the highway turns North and travel one mile North of I-70 to Truman Road (Exit 60), West on Truman Rd.(left turn for those directionally challenged folk) one mile, past Builders Surplus and next to the Quik Trip.

From St. Louis: I-70 West to I-435 North (Exit 8B), North to Truman Road (Exit 60)and West on Truman Rd one mile.

From Topeka: I-70 East (yes, the $1.60 toll road is worth it!) through downtown (who designed this part of I-70 anyway?) to the Truman Road/Benton Blvd Exit (4A), East on Truman Rd 2.5 miles.

From Iowa or Nebraska: I-29 South or I-35 South to I-435 East. East and South on I-435 to Truman Road (Exit 60), two miles south of the Missouri River, West on Truman Rd (Exit 60), (that's a right turn for you DC folk) 1 mile.
